Competition 1 - Chef's Competition
Terms and Conditions:
- Information on how to enter and the prize form part of these conditions of entry. Participation in this promotion constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions of entry.
- Entry is open to residents of Australia. Employees of the promoter, the Promoter's associated companies, the Promoter's agencies associated with this promotion and their immediate families are ineligible to enter
- The promotion commences Monday, 1st October 2007 and ends 11.59pm (AEST) Monday 26th November 2007.
- To enter access the website www.topcut.com.au and proceed to the High Country Competition link and enter online.
- You must clearly indicate on the entry form the competition you are entering by selecting "Chef".
- Website entry form must be completed in full. Failure to complete all fields may result in exclusion from competition.
- Entries must be received during the Promotional Period. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any problems or technical malfunction of any communication network, or any late, lost incomplete, misdirected, incorrectly submitted, delayed illegible or corrupted entries. The Promoter is not liable for any costs incurred, responses received or any other consequences of user error.

Conditions of Entry:
- You must be currently employed as a Chef.
- You must submit a recipe for a main or entrée; and photo of the plated recipe, using High Country Pork.

The Competition Centre of plate item must include one of the following:
- High Country Pork Rack
- High Country Pork Cutlet
- High Country Loin Medallion - Rind on
- High Country Loin Medallion - Rindless
- In addition to the centre of plate item, other High Country Pork products may be used to compliment meal
- The recipe must be submitted in full, so that it may be reproduced by another Chef.
- All entries become the property of High Country.
- All recipes and photos will be displayed on website for the duration of the competition.
- It is a condition of entry that all entrants use High Country Pork for their recipe and photos. High Country is exclusively distributed by Top Cut Foods Limited.
- The major prize awarded to the winning Chef is a Travel Package for the winning chef, including airfares and transfers from the winner's nearest capital city to Hamilton Island and a wine pack. To the maximum value of $3750.
- The minor prize awarded to the Establishment of the wining Chef is $1000 worth of High Country Pork and a trophy for display.
- Total prize pool is valued at a maximum of $5000.
- The winner will be notified by mail, to be sent on Friday 18th January 2008, and their details will be published in The Australian, on Saturday 26th January 2008 and displayed on the Top Cut web site, www.topcut.com.au,. The promoter may also publish the name and the State/Territory of residence/establishment of the winner on its website or in a trade publication.
- Prizes are not transferable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise stipulated.
- Winner must be able to travel long weekend in June 2008. Prize is not transferable to any other date.
- Prize values are correct at time of printing but no responsibility is accepted for any variation in the value of any prizes.
- The Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
- If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry, the entry will be discarded and a new winner of that prize will be determined by drawing a further valid entry. Judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings. Independent financial advice should be sought. Where the operation of the promotion results in, for GST purposes, supplies being made for non-monetary consideration, entrants agree to follow the Australian Taxation Office's stated view that where the parties are at arm's length, goods and services exchanged are of equal GST inclusive market values.
- In the event of the prize not being accepted or claimed within 3 months of the notification on 29th December 2007, the winner's entry will be deemed invalid and the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize.
- All entries will remain the property of the Promoter. The information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this promotion. The Promoter may disclose entrants' personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this promotion or communicating with entrants and to State and Territory lottery departments and winners' names may be published as required under the relevant legislation. The Promoter is bound by the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988
